Protect yourself
When posting video clips, make sure there isn't anything in them that could help a stranger figure out who you are or where you live. Personal information like your telephone number or home address should NEVER be shared with other users. Watch out for things like number plates on cars or images of the outside of your home which might accidentally appear in the background of a video and help a stranger to track you down. Remember, Clipstar employees will never ask you for your password, email address, or other account information. Don't be fooled if someone contacts you pretending to be from Clipstar!
Everything in moderation
Whether it's a cyber bullying, people being rude or something more sinister, you can rest assured that with our moderation team and policy we’ll do everything in our power to protect everybody. When you post a video people can make comments on them, if you find the comments hurtful or offensive, you can delete them or REPORT them as inappropriate, so then our team can access them and take the appropriate action.
Clipstar doesn't allow video clips that feature nudity, graphic violence, political propaganda, hate and anything insensitive. If you come across a video clip that you think is inappropriate for our site, click the link on the video to REPORT it as Inappropriate and submit the form on the next page to report it to Clipstar.
